I am in full support of Provo Mayor Lewis Billings becoming the next Lt. Governor for the State of Utah. Gary Herbert would be getting a much better second in command than Governor Jon Huntsman did, by choosing Mayor Billings. With almost three terms as Mayor of Provo, Lewis Billings has worked very hard to make Provo a better place. He is an able administrator who has pushed forward projects that have changed the look of Provo forever.

As a past business owner and member of the Board of Directors for Neighborhood Services of Provo, I came to appreciate the dedication and hard work that Mayor Billings put into rebuilding Provo's Pioneer Neighborhoods. He put the City of Provo on a four-day workweek, which has saved money and been popular with the City Employees. He has kept the City's budget balanced and he has done it without raising taxes.
