The Military Commissions Act of 2006 was recently signed into law. I just want everyone to know that both of our Senators and all three Congressmen voted for this clearly unconstitutional law. It is touted as a way to help fight against terrorism. But it is vague and loosely defined. They claim that this is a necessary measure to combat terrorism, but it could just as easily be applied against American citizens that speak out against this evil war, or dare to criticize the government and it's policies. Any one of us could be labeled as an enemy combatant and be held in secret, never getting our day in court.

Tuesday, we have the opportunity to get rid of these people who are betraying us in Washington. I urge everyone to read the law in full, and also look at what other unconstitutional laws our leaders are passing before they decide on whom to vote for. It is always a good thing to vote out those who have failed to represent the people, and only care about their own agendas and the power they hold.
