SALT LAKE CITY -- Authorities have identified a 3-year-old boy who drowned at Yuba Lake State Park last week.

Sanpete County Sheriff's Sgt. Greg Peterson says several children were playing in the water on Friday when Adan Maximus Garcia, of Payson, wandered away. The boy and his family were camping at the park.

Someone saw the boy in the water and got him out, but CPR efforts weren't successful.
