Tami Stanley XGR prosethetics

ASHLEY FRANSCELL/Daily Herald "Life has been pretty fulfilling," said Tami Stanley of Orem. "There are some limitations but I can still do a lot of things." Stanley lost her leg three years ago after complications to a shattered bone from a softball accident three years prior. She continues to lead an active lifestyle walking everyday, lifting weights, riding a bicycle and being a part of a paralympic bobsled team. Stanley who is spearheading a bill on behalf of the Amputee Coalition of America to put insurance coverage for prosthetic care on par with other basic, medical services.
