Nunley honored as SVH employee

MT. PLEASANT-- Waylon Nunley was honored at a recent luncheon where he was awarded Sanpete Valley Hospital's 2012 Second Quarter Employee of the Quarter.

Nunley has been an employee of Intermountain Healthcare, Sanpete Valley Hospital since 2006. He is currently a respiratory therapist.

Employees are nominated based upon their performance in several areas focusing on Intermountain values of trust, excellence, accountability and mutual respect. As well as their Healing Commitments by helping patients feel safe, welcome and at ease, sensitivity, respect, compassion and teamwork.

Nunley was nominated by two separate departments for his example to others. The caring compassionate way he treats everyone. Many co-workers say he is always willing to help without being asked.

He is a good listener and goes the extra mile. Patients have said he makes them feel special by looking for the small things that they need. He has been a champion on making sure all his patients' questions are answered. He is great team player, always has a smile on his face and great attitude
