Saturday, June 27, United Pullers sponsored a Truck and Tractor pull. The Red-Neck-Rig leaves the starting line in Saturday's truck pull at the Spanish Fork Fairgrounds arena. The 1978 Chevrolet with a souped 454 cubic inch engine took first place in the modified stock class. Other entries at the event included a 1923 Ford Model T, super modified vehicles and modified tractors. Pulling vehicles are hitched to a weighted sled. As the rig pulls, the weight moves forward as the difficulty of the pull increases. The event was attended by about 1500 people. For more information www.unitedpullers.net
