No. 13: Tuni Kanuch, BYU OL
Note: As the final month before the BYU football team starts fall camp ticks away, here is Jared Lloyd's list of the Top 25 individuals who will have the biggest impact on the success of the Cougars in 2014.
So BYU football enters the 2014 season with a huge amount of returning talent on the offensive line, guys who gained experience in 2013 and now should be ready to do great things.
And yet, here one of the first linemen listed is an unproven freshman who redshirted last year and has yet to play a single snap for the Cougars.
Yeah, that's what a big spring will get you.
Kanuch, who was moved over from defensive line back to the offense, got rave reviews in March and April for his performance and his attitude.
The BYU lineman said he brings in an aggressive, defensive mentality and that expanded to the guys around him.
It's something the Cougars have needed, which means Kanuch could prove to have the biggest impact on the line -- or possibly the team -- even if he doesn't stuff the stat sheet or hold the showiest position.
