Here's a look at Wednesday's prep action: 


Juab 59, Maeser Prep 50: At Nephi, the Wasps scored 22 points in the fourth quarter to top the Lions in a Region 14 conference game. 

The Wasps took the lead early, scoring 12 points in the first quarter while the Lions scored 4. Juab extended its lead in the second quarter, scoring 14 points, while Maeser Prep scored 9, making the score 26-13 at the half. 

The Lions put a dent in Juab's lead in the third quarter, scoring 22 points, but the Wasps maintained a two-point lead heading into the final quarter. In the fourth quarter, the Wasps outscored the Lions 22-15 for the win. 


Pleasant Grove 64, Herriman 42: At Pleasant Grove, consistent scoring helped the Vikings top the Mustangs in a non-conference home game. 

The Vikings took a small lead in the first quarter, scoring 13 points while the Mustangs scored 11. In the second inning, Pleasant Grove scored 17 points, while keeping the Mustangs scoring only 11, putting the Vikings at a 30-22 lead at halftime. 

In the third quarter, Pleasant Grove's hot shooting continued, with the Vikings scoring 17 points. Herriman lost more ground, scoring only 8 points. In the fourth quarter, the Vikings kept up the trend, scoring 17 points again, while keeping the Mustangs to only 12 for the win.
