Utah Symphony

Another way Utahns show their love for Harry Potter is through music. I remember the subsequent sheet music rush that happened after the first Harry Potter movies came out, as shameless aficionados raced for their chance to pick out the intricate, signature melodies woven by none other than John Williams, known for his work on the “Star Wars” series, “Jaws,” “Indiana Jones” and “Jurassic Park.” A passion for the themes of Harry Potter is still prevalent now, all these years later, as evidenced by events such as the Utah Symphony’s upcoming concert “The Magic of Harry Potter,” an event set for Feb. 18-19 at 7 p.m. This isn’t the first such concert in Utah, and it’s surely not the last.
