Last year, I met Mark Sheppard and I told him that "Supernatural" helped me find a level of strength within myself that I never knew existed and saved my life.
The response he gave me was 100% different than I expected, but it made such a difference in my life; he said, in a nutshell, "That's bulls---. We may have helped, and that's great. But you (expletive) did that all on your own. That was you and your strength. You can't blame anyone else for your happiness. And now you know, you did it once and you can do it again."
As someone with severe mental illness, I have felt out of control my entire life. And to hear from someone who I admire and look up to so much tell that it's all me, I'm stronger than I know and I can do it, I can't even tell you the difference it's made in my life since then.
