Springville Senior Citizen cook book

By Daily Herald - | Jan 14, 2009

Whether it’s Dave’s Beef Tips or Frank’s Roast Beef, Cheryl’s Muffins or Rosemary’s Cream Puffs, Colleens Salsa or Evelyn’s Soup, Edna’s Zucchini or Lena’s Yams, you can find the recipe in “Tried and True,” the Springville Senior Center’s collection of recipes.

The recipe collection is available in a hard-cover binder for $8.50 or a smaller paperback edition for $5.

You can pick one up at the Senior Center at 65 E. 200 South, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The section dividers and index organize the recipes into Appetizers & Beverages, Soups & Salads, Vegetables & Side Dishes, Main Dishes, Breads & Rolls, Desserts, Cookies & Candies, and This & That. Or you can check the alphabetical Index of Contributors for your neighbor’s favorite recipe.

Enjoy that sweet and sour favorite your neighbor has bragged about for years or find out what secret or extra ingredient others add to put the zing into their casseroles.

Starting at $4.32/week.
