Les Olson Co. honored by Arthritis Foundation

Arthritis Foundation supporters recognized and honored Les Olson Co. with the Doris S. Melich Founders’ Award at the 35th annual Evening of Honors Dinner Gala on Wednesday evening at the Little America Hotel in Salt Lake City.

Les Olson is celebrating 60 years in business, and has a long history of community involvement and philanthropy. This year, the company funded all the equipment for the Arthrofit program recently launched at The Orthopedic Specialty Hospital, or TOSH, at Intermountain Healthcare.

“Doris D. Melich Founder’s Award is the Arthritis Foundation’s highest honor and recognizes individuals and organizations for their leadership and dedication to community and philanthropy. We congratulate our outstanding honoree, and thank them for their continued commitment to enhancing the lives of arthritis patients, creating awareness around this debilitating disease, and supporting in our efforts to conquer arthritis,” said Rob Brough, co-chair of the event and past award recipient said.

The Evening of Honors Dinner Gala raises funds to support the Arthritis Foundation’s life-changing tools, resources, scientific research and advocacy initiatives. The foundation strives to help people live better while searching for a cure to the number one cause of disability in the United States, which affects more than 50 million Americans and 300,000 children.
