Memorial Day is just around the corner, and many local pools are opening just in time for summer. Here are some places you can get your swimming fix in Utah County.
(Check with the pool first to make sure they are open despite COVDI-19 restrictions).
The waterpark previously called Seven Peaks is opening May 29 under its new name and management: Splash Summit. The waterpark is the largest in Utah County.
Splash Summit is a 17-acre park with several large body and tube slides, a 500,000-gallon wave pool, four kids’ water attractions and several eateries.

Provo Recreation Center
The Provo Recreation Center has three indoor pools, including a competition pool, deep water pool with an aquatic climbing wall and dive platform, and leisure pool, featuring an interactive tree house with three slides, buckets and water toys, leading into a lazy river.
The center’s outdoor pool features a wave ball pool, two water slides and a kids’ splash pool. The center is located at 320 W. 500 North, Provo. Pricing, hours and more information are available at provo.org.
SCERA Park Pools
Orem’s SCERA Park Pools include an outdoor lap pool, dive tank, splash pad, water playground, a variety of slides, interactive features and play structures including water rings, tumble buckets and a raindrop waterfall.

Lehi Outdoor Pool
The Lehi Outdoor Pool is an Olympic-size heated outdoor pool with an aqua climbing wall, diving boards, two flume slides and a baby pool.

Lehi Legacy Center
The Lehi Legacy Center has a year-round indoor eight-lane lap pool, leisure pool, lazy river, toddler splash pool and play structures.

American Fork Fitness Center
The American Fork Fitness Center has a competition pool and leisure pool, which includes a toy structure with water features for small children, beach front entry, tumble buckets, a 25-foot twisting slide, a lazy river, ground spray features, and an open swim and play area.

Lindon Aquatics Center
The Lindon Aquatics Center, which features an outdoor lap pool, lazy river, Pirate Pool, FlowRider surfing simulator and Hucks Hideout, is located at 60 W. 60 North, Lindon. Pricing, hours and more information are available at lindonpool.org.
Spanish Fork Water Park
Spanish Fork Water Park, located at 199 N. 300 West, Spanish Fork, features an outdoor pool, 150-foot water slide, splash pad, kids’ play area with a water mushroom and two diving boards. Pricing, hours and more information are available at spanishfork.org.
Spanish Oaks Reservoir
Spanish Oaks Reservoir is open to swimmers from March 1 through Nov. 30, weather and conditions permitting, from dawn to dusk.

Clyde Recreation Center
Springville’s Clyde Recreation Center is open year-round at 717 S. 1200 West, Springville. The center includes an outdoor pool, leisure pools and a competition pool. Pricing and additional information are available at springville.org.
Wayne Bartholomew Family Park
Springville’s Wayne Bartholomew Family Park features beach and grass areas and a pond that is open to swimmers, although there are no lifeguards on duty. The park is located at 1090 S. 2900 East, Springville, and is open daily from dawn to dusk.
Parking permits are required May 1-Sept. 30, which are free to Springville residents, limited to one per household, at the Civic Center, Clyde Recreation Center, and Parks and Recreation Office with a photo ID and proof of residence. Non-residents can purchase a permit for $10 per day. More information is available at springville.org.
Payson City Pool
The Payson City Pool is located at 655 S. Main St., Payson. Its amenities include a lap pool with a diving board and a leisure pool with a water playground, slide tower, current channel with tumble buckets, bridge with interactive play features and zero-depth beach entry. Highland Glen Park
Highland Glen Park includes an outdoor swimming area that is open to the public, although there are no lifeguards on duty. Hours are daily from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m., and the park is located at 4800 W. Knight Ave., Highland. Additional information is available at highlandcity.org.
Pleasant Grove Veteran’s Memorial Pool
The Pleasant Grove Veteran’s Memorial Pool is located at 532 E. 300 South St., Pleasant Grove, and includes slides and a pool. Pricing, hours and additional information are available at plgrove.org.
