The classic story of “Jumanji” will be told in two new dimensions at Orem Public Library in the coming week.

The library will show “Zathura” on Friday and “Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle” on Monday, on the heels of its screening of the 1995 “Jumanji” film starring Robin Williams last Monday.

In the case of 2005 film “Zathura,” the magical board game launches two young boys’ house into space, sending the brothers on an intergalactic adventure.

“Zathura” was directed by Jon Favreau and stars Josh Hutcherson, Jonah Bobo, Dax Shepard and Kristen Stewart. The film is rated PG by the Motion Picture Association of America for “fantasy action and peril, and some language,” and its runtime is 101 minutes.

“Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle,” which came out last year, depicts Jumanji in the form of a video game that sucks in four teenagers who discover they must finish the game in order to escape.

The new film was directed by Jake Kasdan and stars Dwayne Johnson, Jack Black, Kevin Hart and Karen Gillan. The movie is rated PG-13 by the Motion Picture Association of America for “adventure action, suggestive content and some language,” and its runtime is 119 minutes.

Both screenings are scheduled to start at 6:30 p.m. and are free and open to the public. The movies will show at the Orem Public Library Media Auditorium, 58 N. State St., Orem.
