“Robin Hood the Musical,” which features music by Karrol Cobb, portrays Robin of Locksley as a rogue and thief, rather than a hero, looking for a way to hit the jackpot. Robin gets his big idea when he hears the townspeople crying out against the sheriff’s latest tax hike, but eventually discovers the true jackpot.
“His plan is to take the money and run,” librettist Tony Cobb said in a press release. “And it all works out just the way he planned — until, of course, the woman comes along.”
Performances are set for Mondays, Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 p.m. through June 29 at Angelus Theatre, 165 N. Main St., Spanish Fork. Tickets are available for $6-$35 along with more information online at angelustheatre.com.
