The 1994 drama — which stars Tom Hanks, Sally Field and Robin Wright — highlights some of the most memorable events of the second half of the 20th century from one man’s unique perspective. The movie won six Academy Awards, including Best Picture, in 1995.
“Forrest Gump” is rated PG-13 by the Motion Picture Association of America “for drug content, some sensuality and war violence.” The film’s runtime is two hours and 22 minutes.
The movie will screen Sunday and Tuesday at 3 and 7 p.m. in Utah County at AMC Classic Provo 12, 4925 N. Edgewood Drive, Provo; Megaplex Theatres at Geneva, 600 N. Mill Road, Vineyard; and Megaplex Theatres at Thanksgiving Point, 2935 N. Thanksgiving Way, Lehi.
