Some of the “Napoleon Dynamite” cast and crew will reunite in Salt Lake City this week at an event celebrating the film’s 15th anniversary.

The Utah Film Center will host a fundraising event Friday featuring a “Napoleon Dynamite” special screening and Q&A with Jon Heder (Napoleon Dynamite), Efren Ramirez (Pedro), Emily Dunn (Trisha), Aaron Ruell (Kip), Shondrella Avery (Lafawnduh), Jared Hess (director and writer), Jerusha Hess (writer) and Jeremy Coon (producer and editor).

Memorabilia from the movie also will be exhibited at the event.

Napoleon Dynamite” is a PG-rated, 96-minute 2004 film about an alienated teenager who helps a new friend in his campaign to run for class president at their small high school in Preston, Idaho.

The screening is set to start Friday at 7:30 p.m. with the Q&A to follow at 9 p.m. at East High School, 840 S. 1300 East, Salt Lake City. General admission tickets cost $50, with VIP tickets including a photo op with the cast before the screening and reserved seating available for $150. Tickets and more details are available online at
