Ben Rector and Hilary Weeks announced in BYU Alumni videos published Monday on YouTube they will headline "BYU Spectacular!" in October 2019.

Rector, a Nashville-based singer-songwriter, is known for "Brand New," a hit that was featured on several TV shows and in trailers for Disney's "Moana."

"I can't wait to see you there," Rector said in his video. "I'm so excited to get to do it. I can't wait to see what they come up with."

Weeks is a Christian musician known for songs like "He Hears Me."

"I can't even believe I was invited, and don't worry, I'm not going to let it go to my head," Weeks said in her video. "I hope to see you in October."

Rector and Weeks will share the stage with Brigham Young University performing arts groups Vocal Point, Cougarettes, Men's Chorus, Young AmbassadorsBallroom Dance Company, International Folk Dance Ensemble and Dunk Team for the annual homecoming celebration.

"BYU Spectacular!" 2019 is set for Oct. 17 and 18 at 7:30 p.m. at the Marriott Center. Tickets will go on sale to the general public July 15 at, with advance tickets on sale the week prior to BYU alumni, students and ArtsPass holders.
