House Bill 306, Public Safety Officer Privacy Amendments, was sponsored by Rep. Mike McKell, R-Spanish Fork.

The bill sought to shield the name of a law enforcement officer who is involved in a critical incident until an investigation is complete.

The bill was favorably recommended by a House committee, but never received a vote in the full House of Representatives.
