It doesn’t matter how many years it’s been since Harry Potter made his debut, there will always be a demand in Utah for Harry Potter-themed events, and the annual rush of Yule Balls are just a small example. One such event is the Yule Ball held each year at the Springville Library in honor of Harry Potter’s birthday.

“Harry Potter is still huge,” said Kim Christensen, the Library’s Circulation Manager and Teen Librarian, noting that the series is still among the most checked out. “We just want to have fun, celebrate and wish him a happy birthday.”

Discovery Tree Academy of Springville also joined in the fun with a Harry Potter-themed Halloween, but if you’re looking for one of the biggest events, it would definitely be the Salt Lake City Yule Ball – yet another chance for Harry Potter lovers to don their costumes and party.
