Mapleton Parkway Trail, Nov. 6, 8 a.m.-9 p.m.
All of us owe a tremendous debt to the veterans who gave so much for their country. Mapleton will honor those men and women with the Veteran’s Drive, which the city website says: “Enjoy a patriotic drive along the Mapleton Parkway Trail from 1200 N to 400 N in tribute to Veterans in our community. Vehicles will enter the Parkway Trail from 1200 N and proceed at 5mph on the trail to 400 N. Participants will be able to scan a QR code and listen to narration. At the end of the trail, there will be opportunities for residents to give a monetary donation to our local Veterans and learn of other ways you can support local veteran owned businesses. We hope you join us!”

The theater website describes it by saying: “A charming new musical based on the book that also inspired the beloved film Mrs. Harris Goes to Paris! When housekeeper Ada Harris discovers something breathtaking, she sets off on a journey that will change her life. From post-war London to magical Paris, Ada’s presence transforms others, yet she grapples with releasing her past. Can she allow her life to bloom?”
