Charlotte Faye Leftwich Caley, age 78, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 7, 2019 at her home at Legacy Village of Provo, Utah, surrounded by her husband, David Tagg Caley, and their children.
Charlotte was born on March 8, 1941 in Provo, Utah to Opal Tillie Haws Leftwich and Leonard Raymond Leftwich, and is the sixth of seven children.
At the age of eleven years old, Charlotte met her brothers’ best friend and the person that would turn out to be the love of her life, David Tagg Caley. They married on August 30, 1956 in Provo, Utah; they were later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple for time and eternity on December 22, 1961.
Charlotte is survived by her husband, David Tagg Caley; 3 daughters, Mindy Halladay (Ed), Crystal Rowley (Robert), and Shelly Caley; her sons, Jeffrey Caley and Douglas (Sara) Halladay; 23 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, Mark Leftwich and Robert (Anne) Leftwich; 2 sisters-in-law, Patti Olson and Claudia Penrod, as well as many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her daughter, Tammra Dawn (Douglas) Halladay, her parents, 3 brothers, Dean (Connie) Leftwich, Jack (Linda) Leftwich, LaVern (Nancy) Leftwich, a sister, Bonita (Kayle) Brereton, and a sister-in-law, Jeanine Fulmer Leftwich.
Charlotte loved each one of us with all her heart and made each feel that they were the favorite. She was loved by all that met her.
