Our beloved wife, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend, Lindsay Elise Clarke-Hammond, had a seizure resulting in a car accident February 22, 2013. She passed away peacefully on March 2, 2013. Lindsay was born on April 5, 1988, at American Fork Hospital in American Fork, Utah. She married Shawn Larry Hammond on July 8, 2011.

Lindsay grew up in Utah County. She graduated from Timpview High School and attended Utah Valley University, where she was pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. Following graduation from UVU, she planned on attending pharmacy school. She worked as a certified pharmacy technician at Utah Valley Regional Medical Center.

Lindsay was very artistic. She created beautiful pottery and drawings. She was an avid writer; recording her thoughts and experiences in a journal for most of her life. She enjoyed reading, movies, music and shopping. She was an athlete, excelling in tennis and skiing.

Lindsay appreciated nature, especially all varieties of trees. She made beautiful pressed flower bookmarks and gave them to her family and friends. She was an animal lover, and had a variety of pets growing up. She and Shawn had two dogs that they loved dearly.

Lindsay had a kind and tender heart. She was close to her family and cared deeply about their happiness and well-being. She never missed a chance to spend time with them and was always available for support and companionship. She had a quick, fun and quirky sense of humor.

Lindsay is survived by her husband, Shawn; her parents Karen Clarke and Larry Krantz; her siblings Sarah (Alex) Clarke-Smith, Kristen (Ryan) Clarke Kellems, David (Cindi) Clarke, and Jennifer (Mauricio) Choque; Shawn's parents Larry and LeAnn Hammond; Shawn's brother Brett (Lindsey) Hammond; eight nieces and nephews; and other loving extending family.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, March 9, 2013, at the Pleasant View Ward House, 650 East Stadium Avenue, Provo, Utah. Friends may call at the Berg Mortuary of Provo, 185 East Center Street, Friday evening from 6:00-7:30 p.m. and at the church Saturday from 9:30-10:45 a.m. prior to services.
