Easter Egg Hunt

Utah County is a great place for family fun, with events across the valley for kids of all ages. Here are five fun events that are perfect for the whole family this week.

Crosstown Clash

Crosstown baseball rivals BYU and UVU will face off Tuesday night at Miller Field at BYU. Whether your blood runs blue or you fight for the green, your family can cheer on your team as they take on the local foe.

When: 6 p.m., Tuesday

Where: Miller Field, BYU campus

BYU International Folk Dance Ensemble

Enjoy an evening of dance as your family tours the world through dance with Brigham Young University’s International Folk Dance Ensemble. The group will be performing at the Covey Center for the Arts

When: 7:30 p.m., Thursday

Where: Covey Center for the Arts; 425 W. Center St., Provo

Cost: $12-$14

Easter Eggstreme at Thanksgiving Point

The Easter Eggstreme at Thanksgiving Point is a fun day for the whole family. Egg hunts will be held every half hour from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., The eggs in the egg hunt will be filled with small toys, treats and other goodies. There will also be a visit from the Easter Bunny and activities like the cow train, inflatables, face painting and more.

When: 10 a.m.-2 p.m. (hunts held every half hour from 10:30 a.m.-1 p.m.), March 31

Where: 3003 Thanksgiving Way, Lehi

Cost: Adults, $6; Children $10

University Place Easter Extravaganza

The Easter Extravaganza at University Place is a free event where kids can play with animals, race on an obstacle course, play with balloons and eat treats. There will also be dancing and face painting. Pawlette the Bunny from Build-a-Bear will be at the event from 2-3 p.m. and 4-5 p.m. for photos. Keep in mind that this is not an egg hunt, though University Place will host an egg hunt prior to this event for kids.

When: 2-5 p.m., March 31

Where: The Orchard At University Place; 575 E. University Pkwy., Orem

Cost: Free

City Easter Egg Hunts

Now that Easter weekend is here, several cities in Utah County will be hosting Easter egg hunts this weekend. Santaquin, Spanish Fork, Payson, Alpine, Lindon, Orem, Vineyard and Springville will be hosting egg hunts for kids.
