The Spanish Fork Junior High Orchestra was recently named the winner of a national competition run by the GiveANote foundation. As one of 12 semi-finalists in the 2016 Music in Our Schools Tour, the group’s submitted performance video garnered the most votes overall — totaling more than 14,000, according to Nebo School District. The orchestra program, led by Angela Harman, will receive a $5,000 grant and a visit from a Disney Radio star later this spring. For more information, visit http://www.giveanote.org/.
