Peay: Disappointing experience with Dr. Hafen

This is to the gentleman who loves Premier Med. I am really glad you were one of the lucky ones that got a good doctor.

My feet swelled for three years. They looked like I had elephantitus. I asked, and asked, and asked about my condition. He put me on water pills twice and when that didn’t work, blew it off. I developed tremors in my hands. His comment was, “We’ll keep an eye on it.”

This also went on for three or four years. I ended up going to a neurologist. He diagnosed me and warned me about the lithium.

I asked Marc Hafen and as usual, got no help. My memory started to have problems. He did nothing as usual. I almost lost my life because of him, so you are lucky you’ve only seen him once or twice.

And why couldn’t I have a new doctor when I asked and asked and asked? Isn’t it my right? My daughter had really bad pains in her stomach so he sent her to a sports doctor, nutritionist, chiropractor, then like a bolt out of the blue, to much expense on her part and no answers, it finally dawned on him to have her checked for an ulcer. So after a year and a half of extreme pain, he finally says to her, “We didn’t check you for an ulcer.”

Ding ding ding. All I said to him was I didn’t feel he was a very good doctor. He could have saved us a lot of pain and agony if he would have cared, and was a decent doctor. Maybe he should change profession so someone else doesn’t have a $125,000 hospital bill.

I have finally found a real doctor and am doing much better. I’m glad you were one of the lucky ones that got someone else. Good luck and I hope he doesn’t hurt anyone else.
