Smoke billows up from the wreckage where an under-construction apartment complex burned in a massive fire in Lehi on Sunday, Nov. 11, 2025.

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, or ATF, announced this week it will aid in the investigation of a massive fire that burned down an apartment complex under development in Lehi on Sunday.

The ATF said in a social media post that it was on the scene at The Vistas at The Point fire Wednesday. The agency said it deploys to investigate “major fires, explosions and bombings alongside local partners.”

The Lehi Fire Department is leading the investigation.

According to the city, the Lehi Fire Department responded to the fire around 10:17 a.m. Sunday and found a four-story structure and an adjacent one-story structure “fully engulfed in flames.”

The incident marked the second time this year a developing apartment in Utah Valley has caught on fire, prompting ATF to investigate.

In February, a large fire burned down the Remington Commons apartment complex under construction in Provo.

The ATF said in March it was offering a reward of up to $5,000 for any information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for setting the fire.

Provo police spokesperson Jane-Lee Holland told the Daily Herald on Thursday that the ATF’s investigation remains ongoing and that they are still taking tips to generate leads.
