Kadee Jo Jones, a senior at Lehi High School, was chosen by Alpine School District as the Daily Herald's Utah Valley Student of the Week.
Kadee Jo is active in Lehi High's HOPE Squad, the FFA, sports marketing club, the student council, the National Junior Honor Society, the FCCLA, the FBLA, Skills USA, and plays on the girls golf and rodeo teams.
She serves LHS students as the student body secretary and strives to "create an enjoyable learning environment for them," she says.
She has also spent countless hours of community service and representation in the Miss Lehi Royalty,and within the NJHS program. She's actively promoted suicide prevention in Lehi as a HOPE squad member, and contributes her time as a Lehi Free Press article writer.
Kadee Jo was the Utah State Veterinary Science champion, and the Utah Agriscience Fair champion, and came in ninth at nationals. She organized a shoe drive and collected 400 pairs of shoes for charity. This summer she attended Utah Girls State.
Kadee Jo hopes become a Utah State Ambassador and obtain a degree in marketing. She also has goals to compete for Miss America and study abroad in Italy.
