Travis Training Center will host an open barn on June 4 in partnership with Bridle up Hope and LifeFusion to promote Horses for Wellness.

The festivities will begin at 11 a.m. at the Travis Training Center at 5400 W. 9900 South in Payson. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet some of Travis Training Center’s world-renowned Arabian horses and experience an up-close horse presentation. Food, music, door prizes and information on horse wellness practices will also be available.

“We will be putting a spotlight on anxiety and depression with Bridle up Hope educating how equine involvement and companionship can help combat these difficult situations,” Stephanie Hansen, owner of Travis Training Center, wrote in an email to the Daily Herald. “LifeFusion will also share other medical expertise and modalities including TMS and Ketamine infusions to help with the battles of depression, PTSD, and many other mental and physical conditions.”

Bridle up Hope is an Alpine-based public charity dedicated to inspiring hope, confidence and resilience in young women through equestrian training. LifeFusion works to promote healthy living and wellness through intravenous infusions and psychotherapy.

“We welcome the public to meet an Arabian horse up close and learn about depression and different approaches to combat it,” Hansen said.
