Orem is now home to nearly 100,000 people, but it hasn't always been the larger city it is now.

Orem, which is celebrating its 100th birthday this year, was originally incorporated on May 5, 1919. The city was originally an area of farms, fields and orchards, and over the last 100 years has grown into the second-largest city in Utah County.

Take a visual look at what Orem has looked like in the past.
