PROVO -- Several hundred Santas jingled around the block on Saturday as they participated in the Provo edition of the Utah Santa Run. Wearing matching red costumes hemmed in white and the occasional fluffy white beard, the runners listened to Head Elf Joe Coles as he directed the group through a megaphone. During the race, Santa's helpers passed out milk and cookies to breathless passing runners. Coles estimated that more than 800 jolly joggers ran the 5K, including the 614 adults who registered and the children who entered for free.
