Orem police have arrested three men for their roles in a reported stabbing Tuesday evening.

Police received a report at about 11:30 p.m. Tuesday that six people were fighting in the area of 875 S. Geneva Road in Orem, according to a police report. One of the men reportedly had a knife.

The men left by the time police arrived and police later heard that a man had come in to Orem Community Hospital with a stab wound. At the hospital, they reportedly spoke to three people, one of which had been stabbed in the middle of his back. Another had also been stabbed in the middle of his back and had a concussion.

Police arrested three other men involved in the fight on Wednesday after hearing that three people were attempting to sell dab and marijuana at a hotel. The men fit the same description the three in the hospital gave.

The three men reportedly told police they were in the fight but did not give specific details about who had the knife.

Abdirahman Adam, 21, and Musa Mayange, 19, were arrested on suspicion of the second-degree felony of aggravated assault and the class B misdemeanors of use or possession of drug paraphernalia and possession or use of a controlled substance.

Michael Royce, 19, was arrested on suspicion of the second-degree felony of aggravated assault.

All three men are believed to be from out-of-state and are transient.
