Saratoga Springs police arrested two additional people Monday for their role in reportedly assaulting a man Sunday.

Bruce Olander, a 19-year old Richfield man, and Cuauhtemoc Bautista, an 18-year old Richfield man, were arrested on suspicion of the first-degree felony of aggravated assault resulting in serious bodily injury and for the third-degree felony of possessing a deadly weapon with the intent to assault.

Montana Olander, a 21-year-old from Eagle Mountain was arrested earlier Monday on suspicion of the second-degree felony of aggravated assault resulting in serious bodily injury.

Montana Olander reportedly had arranged a meeting with a man in Saratoga Springs to buy an e-cigarette, according to a police report. She had driven him to the car containing four people, who assaulted him. Bruce Olander and Bautista had punched and kicked the man, according to the report.

The man had a broken nose, bloodied face and road rash on his lower back.

The two men had reportedly intended to steal the injured man’s marijuana, according to the report. Montana Olander had previously told police the attack was in response to a rape that happened a couple of years ago.
