Lehi High School, Mountain View High School in Orem and Lone Peak High School in Highland will all have new principals for the 2017-18 school year.

Alpine School District announced multiple administrative assignments Wednesday. The assignments will begin July 1.

An annual movement of administration throughout the district is typical as staff accept new positions and retire.

Doug Webb will be the new principal of Lehi High, David Smith will be the new principal of Mountain View High and Scott Sumner will be the new principal of Lone Peak High.

Courtney Johnson will serve as an assistant principal at Westlake High School in Saratoga Springs for the 2017-18 school year. The next year, she will be the principal of the new high school in Eagle Mountain, which will have its groundbreaking later this month.

Jarom Becar will be assigned to be the principal of Frontier Middle School in Eagle Mountain, Aaron Barth will be the principal of Willowcreek Middle School in Lehi and Diane Wanamaker will be the principal of Oak Canyon Junior High School in Lindon.

Pete Swiderski will be the principal of Sego Lily Elementary School in Lehi and Paul Finlayson will be the principal of Manila Elementary School in Pleasant Grove.

At the district office, David Mower will be the director of research and evaluation.

More administrative assignments will be announced in the near future.
