Polls close in a matter of hours, and hundreds of thousands of voters across the state have cast their ballots in favor of candidates for president, in addition to several local races that will affect local politics.

Polling indicates it's as tight of a race as has been predicted, showing Utah may be the battleground state we never thought it would be. 

The Daily Herald spoke with voters across several polling places to see who they voted for and why. This is just a snapshot of how Utah County voters cast their ballot this Election Day.
