A good amount of Utah Valley cities are on Insta! Following your own city's social media accounts is a great way to stay in the loop on events, opportunities and news going on in your very own neighborhood.

@universityplaceorem: The University Place mall in Orem has stepped up its community activities as of late, and most are free to the public! From cultural events to cardio classes to concerts, you can find a lot of fun activity ideas on this account.
@utahfunactivities: While this account does post about activities throughout the state, many of the posts relate to Utah Valley.

@utfoodie: Cindy, the self-appointed Utah Foodie, dines out at interesting, delicious local restaurants and posts about her experiences. She's basically a modern-day Instagram version of an old fashioned food reviewer.
@yelputahcounty: Yes, Yelp includes reviews of things other than food, but let's be honest, most of its content is just food. And we're A-OK with that! You'll find ideas for delectable treats and good eats on this account.
County government/public services accounts
@rideuta: Keep in the loop on all things public transportation in Utah County with this account's helpful feed.
@utahcountycommission: The Utah County Commission's feed is provided by the public information officer.

Yes, we're taking this opportunity for a shameless, self-serving plug for our own social media accounts.
