One man is dead following an auto-pedestrian collision in Provo on Wednesday afternoon.
The Provo Police Department first got a call about the incident at about 12:51 p.m., said Lt. Brian Taylor, public information officer for the department.
The collision happened at the intersection of Riverside Avenue and State Street in Provo.
A single car headed northbound struck a male pedestrian, believed to be in his 60s, who died at the scene. The police are investigating the fatality, Taylor said, but are not releasing further identifying information pending family notification.
