Cornbelly’s corn maze is celebrating superheroes of all types for its 22nd season at Thanksgiving Point in Lehi.

This year’s maze is celebrating those who wear capes and those who don’t by honoring classic superheroes alongside everyday heroes such as military personnel, firefighters, teachers and law enforcement. The maze design highlights Superman center stage, but includes a military figure and a grandmotherly woman reading a book.

“This year, we are excited to introduce more new attractions than we’ve ever added before and also for the opportunity to honor superheroes,” said Brett Herbst, maze creator. “We’ve of course incorporated classic comic superheroes for fun and entertainment, but more importantly we want to pay tribute to the everyday heroes all around us who sacrifice so much and often go without recognition.”

Cornbelly’s corn maze opened Friday afternoon and will run through Nov. 4. The Cornbelly’s experience will include a number of hero festivities, including outdoor superhero movie screenings, meet and greets with favorite superhero characters, costume contests and discounted admissions for local heroes.

Additionally there are more than 20 new additions to the experience this year for families. There is the Jest in Time circus-themed show, a night-time Halloween parade, Cornbelly’s Kidsville, Bee Lines, Candy Corn Acres, Ropes Course Ranch and the Birdhouse Adventure, in addition to the other regular features.

Cornbelly’s runs from 4 to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Fridays, Saturdays and school fall break days. For information and ticketing visit www.cornbellys.com.
