Another group of graduates left high school behind Wednesday as Lehi High School held its commencement ceremony at the UCCU Events Center at Utah Valley University in Orem. Emotions ran high as the students expressed that familiar mixture of sadness and nervous excitement for their future.

"It's great to think that we had such a great experience," Kassi Hartle said as she waited with her classmates to enter the arena. "One chapter closes and the next opens and it's only bigger and better things coming."

Teacher Ted Taylor said each group of graduates is different but they all leave a similar impression on him.

"What impresses me the most is to have seen these guys come through three years of education, see how they've matured, see how much work they've put in and just see how excited they are to finally make their way in the world," Taylor said. "Every year it's awesome. I'm very proud of all of them."
