SALT LAKE CITY — Salt Lake City police say they're investigating after a young man's body was found in a vacant field.

Police Sgt. Shawn Josephson says a construction crew working in the area of East Zenith Avenue reported the body about 7:30 a.m. Wednesday. The person appears to be in his late teens or early 20s.

Officers are calling the case suspicious because it's not immediately clear how the person died. They're trying to determine whether foul play or natural causes were involved.
