A human-caused fire started Wednesday night in Spanish Fork Canyon, according to information from Utah Fire Info.
The Long Hollow Fire is at an estimated size of 15 acres as of about 6:30 p.m. Wednesday.
The cause is under investigation, though Jason Curry with Utah State Forestry said they do know it was human-caused.
The fire is burning on both private and U.S. Forest Service land. Multiple engines, a helicopter and Alta Hotshots have responded to the scene.
"We have a lot of resources on it," Curry said.
While Curry said the fire may grow larger, Curry said crews should be able to catch it Wednesday night.
"We'll see how the weather goes and what kind of progress we can make," Curry said.
