Happy Birthday to our national anthem.

For 154 years of its history the United States didn’t have an officially declared anthem until a congressional resolution, signed by President Herbert Hoover, when “The Star-Spangled Banner” officially became the national anthem of the United States of America on March 3rd, 1931.

Since then, the national anthem has been sung many times, but some of the most prominent have been at the beginning of sporting events.

To celebrate National Anthem Day, here is a look at five of the worst, and five of the best versions of 'The Star-Spangled Banner'.
