Utah is home to some of the most beautiful landscapes you can find. Summer time is a great time to get outdoors and enjoy all that the state has to offer. Here are seven ways to cross off some summer outdoor activities from your bucket list.
Visit Utah Lake
If you haven’t visited Utah Lake, put it on your list this summer. There are many activities you can do at the lake, including boating, water sports, fishing, canoeing, camping, picncking, paddleboating, and wildlife watching.
Be aware of any advisories due to algal blooms, though.
Visit Timpanogos Cave
Timpanogos Cave National Monument is a great place to visit to cool off in the summer. Head up to the visitors center, take the mile-and-a-half hike to the caves.

Float down the Provo River
If you are looking for a refreshing way to have fun on a hot summer day, try floating down the river. This year, the Provo River is running, high, so before you head out with your tube, check to see if the water levels are safe.
Head to Sundance Resort
You’ve probably been to Sundance for skiing or snowboarding in the winter, but during the summer, the resort has just as much to offer. You can ride the Alpine Ziptour or take a scenic lift ride. You can also explore the area by food or bike.

See the Canyon via Zipline
The Provo Canyon Adventure Zipline travels along the Provo River, giving breathtaking views of the canyon scenery.
