A LifeFlight helicopter responds to the scene of a 3-year-old boy falling from a second story window in Spanish Fork on Tuesday, June 11, 2019.

A 3-year-old boy from Spanish Fork fell from a second-story window and landed on a cement driveway Tuesday, sustaining severe head injuries, according to Spanish Fork Lt. Brandon Anderson.

Anderson said the fall was approximately 13 feet and the incident occurred at 230 S. 750 West in Spanish Fork.

Officers were dispatched to the area when a call came in at 12:01 p.m. Officers and EMS gave first aid on the scene. LifeFlight was contacted, and the child was transported to Primary Children’s hospital in critical condition.

The name of the child or the family were not released at this time.
