Having been a substitute teacher for a friend undergoing extensive surgery, I am a little bit aware of the hours teachers spend in the classroom and am aware of the pressures they have.
Just a comment about feeling overworked. As a business man, I'm sure many of my employees felt the same way. Come to think of it, I can't recall every meeting a person that felt like he was paid what he felt he was worth. It would be most helpful to the teachers, because if we the public were shown what they are paid, including benefits of retirement and insurance, for an hour spent in the classroom, we would be surprised.
