Stock market not an indicator of local success

How can we be satisfied with, even boast about, the rising stock market, low unemployment, apparent prosperity, when 38% of students in Provo schools qualify for reduced price school lunch? Many of them are too proud or shy to sign up.

Over a third of our neighbors are hurting, and measures intended to level the playing field a bit too often lose out to well-financed players.
