Friends of Historic Spring City presents Spring City’s Candlelite Christmas Home Tour and Art Sale is on Saturday, Dec. 17 from 4 to 7:30 p.m. Decorated for the holidays, beautiful Spring City homes on the tour are a delight to behold. Come join in celebrating the season with live music, crafts sales, an art sale and naturally, cider!

  • The Christmas Miniature Collection will feature small paintings for gifting to your loved ones or to yourself. The art sale is at the Spring City Community Center. This evening is also the last day of the Spring City Arts Christmas Craft Sale which is located in the Main Gallery.
  • Enjoy Christmas carols at the historic Stone Church and Bluegrass Christmas in Victory Hall!
  • Tickets are $10 ($5 for Spring City residents) and are available at the Spring City Community Center or at any home on the Candlelite Home Tour. (Exact cash only at the homes, please). Proceeds go to local restoration efforts in Spring City.

Mt. Pleasant’s annual Christmas Lighting Festival will bring joy to everyone on Historic Main Street in Mt. Pleasant on Nov. 26 from 4 to 6:30 p.m.

  • Santa will make his debut, so bring your letters for him!
  • Enjoy music, hayrides, games, treats and see the lighting of the tree. Free for everyone. Dress warm, this is an outdoor event.

The Ephraim Co-op will be hosting the Christmas Nativity on 3 days: Friday, Dec. 2 from 4 to 8 p.m.; Saturday, Dec. 3 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.; and Monday, Dec. 5 from 4 to 8 p.m. in the Co-op building at 96 N. Main St., Ephraim. See nativities from all over the world and enjoy holiday refreshments as you marvel at these hand-crafted works of art.

Also in Ephraim, The Graham Science center will be hosting a Planetarium Show Christmas Special. Learn about the seasonal night sky in central Utah! Three shows: Tuesday, Nov. 29 at 7 p.m.; Tuesday, Dec. 13 at 7 p.m.; and Wednesday, Dec. 8 at 8 p.m. Planetarium Dome Theater, 111 E. Center St., GRSC Room 324, Ephraim. Gunnison Star Theater at 78 Main St. in Gunnison will be hosting a Kurt Bestor Christmas on Thursday, Dec. 8, with shows at 4 p.m. and at 7:30 p.m.

“Come together and celebrate peace, joy, & Utah,” and save yourself the journey to Salt Lake City, where Kurt Bestor will be preforming at the Eccles Theater later in December!
