Head Coach: Ed Larson

2015 record: 3-7 overall, 1-5 Region 4 (7th)

Playoffs: None

Players to watch: Cam Cooper, Jr. QB; Carson Terrell, Sr. TE/DE; Kade Moore, Jr. WR; Colton Carter, Sr. LB; Will Overstreet, Jr. S; Carson Bell, Jr. C; Hayden Erickson, Jr. OT

Outlook: “Obviously I think our region is the toughest in the state, but we have a chance to crack the playoffs this year,” said coach Ed Larson. “In order for that to happen, we have to stay healthy. We’re thin. We lost most of our depth to the new school.”

Despite the split, the UHSAA decided to keep Lehi in Region 4 this year. That position will be reconsidered in the next realignment cycle, which is currently in process. The Pioneers do not have enough players to field a sophomore team, so they will only play a JV and varsity schedule this season.

“The first three region games should help set us up,” the coach said. “If we do well in those, we’ll be in a good position to make a run at a playoff berth.”

Tradition: “What’s great about Lehi is the community fan base. We haven’t been very successful the last few years but our fans still keep coming. We appreciate that loyalty and build on it. Our kids want to play well for them.” -- head coach Ed Larson
