Here’s a look at the top five Utah Valley high school teams in football, girls soccer and volleyball this week.

FOOTBALL

1. American Fork (2-0, 0-0)

Maddux Madsen: 74 percent, 663 yards, 10 TD’s, zero INT’s first two games.

2. Lone Peak (2-0, 0-0)

Knights next challenge is Nevada power Bishop Gorman on Sept. 11.

3. Skyridge (3-0, 0-0)

How will the Knights fare in rivalry games against American Fork and Pleasant Grove?

2. Timpanogos (6-0, 3-0)

The T’Wolves have a monumental showdown against Lehi set for Tuesday.

3. Lehi (6-0, 3-0)

The Pioneers have only allowed two goals all season, which requires impressive defending.

4. Cedar Valley (7-0, 3-0)

The Aviators have roared into Class 5A with a team that is deep and talented.

5. Skyridge (5-2, 2-0)

The Falcons can prove just how good they are with games against American Fork and Lone Peak just around the corner.

VOLLEYBALL
