Childs, at 6-foot-8 and 220 pounds, averaged 16.4 points and 10.7 rebounds per game last season. had trimmed his list to BYU, Auburn, Boise State, Vanderbilt and Princeton in early August. Childs is an AAU teammate of two other BYU Â commits (Conner Harding and Gavin Baxter) as well as recent Duke commit Frank Jackson.
It's a good get for BYU, which tends to load up on shooting guards. Hey, someone's got to rebound those missed 3's, right?
